video Confrencing

during this lesson we had a guest speaker who introduced us to a social network program he had uploaded to moodle which allows users to send and view webcam aswell as chat.

the idea behind this was to show us that it could be possible to have a completely online lesson
if we all loged in and had webcams the lecturer could show use text documents via the tools and could also select one of us to be the presenter if he wanted us to answer a question.

there is however some set backs, video sessions cant be recorded and presentation files cant be shown through the software.
